The sound track for this short film was recorded with the new Marshwood prototype (for pictures see below). I was looking to do something with this footage. Fishing is my other obsession. Wear headphones if you have them.

New Prototype from Marshwood!

This is a prototype which has passed the test and will eventually become one of the standards offered by Marshwood. The woods used in construction: Quarter-sawn flame maple drop top on a base of alder, Honduran mahogany for the neck, and a rosewood headplate and fretboard. The two Seymour Duncan Phatcats sound real nice like.

New Project

This electric is going to be based off Roy's model with some differences of course. Alder and walnut are woods for the body. Maple for the neck. I will keep you posted.

Marshwood Flagship Model

After about three years of designing, trial and error(s) a "standard" model prototype is in the works. Once completed the photos and videos will follow.

Marshwood Acoustic, The Finishing Stages

After applying lacquer to the instrument and letting it sit for a few weeks the time has come to level the finish with sandpaper. Here if the coat looks good you can go on to buff. Or in this case I need to apply a couple more coats (small pits and voids). The guitar will sit for another two/three weeks and will be leveled again. Can't wait to hear this one. The close-up photo shows the detail of the flame maple.
